April Hollamby is a senior copywriter, based in London.

In a visual-first world, copy may not always feel like the priority. But what we say matters, and how we say it matters even more. Hiring a copywriter (me!) will benefit your business beyond measure—cultivating connection, emotion, providing context and nuance, and of course, a human touch.

April is an observer, storyteller and creative mind who has crafted impactful marketing campaigns and brand strategy for fashion, wellness and culture brands for over eight years. Always adapting, evolving, and never tiring of new ways to communicate and resonate with others.

Her specialisms include: 360 marketing campaigns, editorial, social media, performance marketing, scriptwriting, trend forecast reports, tone of voice guidelines and content strategy. She has worked in-house, freelance and at creative agencies for the likes of WellTech, FARFETCH, HURR, Bluebella, Digital Fairy, Warm Street, Another Community and more.

Originally from the South East of England, she trained to become a journalist, achieving a BA Hons degree in Multimedia Journalism, plus completed additional NCTJ accreditations before moving to London. Outside the BAU, she pens a Substack of personal essays and indulges in the arts and music scenes the city has to offer.
